About EIEI ACOFI / CLADI 2025

The Colombian Association of Engineering Schools (ACOFI), in alliance with the Federal Council of Deans of Engineering of Argentina (CONFEDI), with the institutional support of the Ibero-American Association of Engineering Education Institutions (ASIBEI), will hold the ACOFI International Engineering Education Meeting (EIEI ACOFI) and the Latin American Engineering Congress (CLADI) from September 16 to 19, 2025, with the central theme “Impact-centered engineering education to transform society”.

In this sense, the EIEI ACOFI / CLADI 2025 will have different academic spaces, such as panels, dialogues with experts, workshops, technical activities and keynote lectures on the central theme. Likewise, it will feature the activities that it has maintained in each of its versions related to trends in strategies associated with engineering education and the contributions of engineering to social and economic development, in a great setting that will accommodate exhibitors and participants from different places to share their knowledge and experience.

At EIEI ACOFI / CLADI 2025, deans, directors in academic and administrative areas, engineering teachers and students, representatives of the productive sector, state entities, unions and society will participate, who will interact to study, analyze, debate and reflect on how education in this area contributes to caring for and transforming life.

Thus, the EIEI ACOFI / CLADI 2025 will have different participation modalities: the presentation of works on engineering education, the twelfth version of the Engineering Students Forum (FCEI), the seventh version of the Meeting of Doctoral Students in Engineering (ENEDI) and the presentation of advances in engineering research.

Thus, the EIEI ACOFI / CLADI 2025 constitutes a great opportunity for relationships between organizations, companies, government and representatives of institutions in one of the most important scenarios of engineering education in the global sphere.

The EIEI ACOFI / CLADI 2025 will have the participation of leading personalities in engineering with the purpose of generating an area of ​​deepening knowledge in the different areas of the profession, to promote the exchange of ideas and experiences and establish ties of cooperation.

ACOFI and CONFEDI invite the entire engineering academic community, represented by its faculties, schools, undergraduate and graduate programs, institutes, centers and research groups; the business sector and associations related to engineering; local, regional, national and international governments; regional and global organizations; the media and, in general, society interested in learning how engineering can generate transformation for a better life.

General objective

The EIEI ACOFI / CLADI 2025 is the event for engineering faculties, schools and programs in which the proposals, actions and transformations developed in engineering promote quality of life.

Specific objectives

• To be an academic event in which the entire engineering community, represented by teaching directors, administrative staff, undergraduate and graduate students, representatives of the productive and governmental sectors and society, present and learn about the initiatives, experiences, research and contributions to the care of life from engineering.
• To make known how the contributions from the teaching and learning processes in engineering education contribute to a better quality of life.
• To analyze the importance of water, energy in all its sources, the contributions of engineering to health and new and changing technologies, as responses to care for and transform life.
• To strengthen the academic work of the faculties, schools and engineering programs among themselves and in relations with states, governments, organizations and society as a whole.
