He is a researcher of technical and scientific coordination of INCITEMA and professor of the School of Metallurgical Engineering UPTC, in the area of \u200b\u200bcorrosion.<\/p>\n

He is president of ASCOR and purpose as president of this Association is to promote academic productivity of researchers in universities, funding a series of publications on the subject of corrosion and protection in Colombia, creating a scholarships for Masters and Doctorate in all the country and expand interaction with industry through standards and regulations with ASCOR seal.<\/p>\n

He was drafted in the second round for doctoral and master studies abroad. This award is given for its high scientific, management of a large number of undergraduate thesis, development of new and varied lines of research and its management as research director of the Pedagogical and Technological University of Tunja UPTC.<\/p>\n

He is currently Professor at the Polytechnic School of the University of Sao Paulo (EPUSP) Applied Electromagnetics Laboratory coordinator. Experienced in Electrical Engineering with emphasis on Eletromagneticos circuits, acting on the following subjects: electromagnetic finite element, grounding, electrical machinery and permanent magnets.<\/p>\n

Founder and president of the Brazilian Society of Electromagnetism-SBMAG for two terms. He was president of CPG EPUSP and member of the Evaluation Committee of Postgraduate Engineering IV CAPES.<\/p>\n

Dr. Ethan E. Danahy received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in Computer Science in 2000 and 2002 respectively, and a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering in 2007, all at Tufts University, Medford, MA. He currently holds the position of Engineering Research Program Director at the Center for Engineering Education and Outreach, where he manages tool development projects while researching innovative and interactive techniques for assisting teachers with performing engineering education and communicating robotics concepts to students spanning the K-12 through university age range.<\/p>\n

More recently. He has been coordinator of the Undergraduate Program, Course Coordinator of Graduate Studies and Head of Department. Since March 2006 he has served as Director of the Polytechnic School of the UFRJ.<\/p>\n

Dr. Ishwar K. Puri is dean of the Faculty of Engineering and professor of mechanical engineering. Dr. Puri is a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). He served as Secretary of the American Academy of Mechanics. In 2010, his alma mater, St. Xavier’s School, Delhi, honored him with the Xaverian Excellence Award for his outstanding achievements, pioneering spirit, leadership and public service.<\/p>\n

He obtained his Ph.D. (1987), and M.S. (1984) degrees in Engineering Science (Applied Mechanics) from the University of California, San Diego after obtaining a B.Sc. (1982) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Delhi (Delhi College of Engineering).<\/p>\n
