ASCOR Workshop
Teaching the integrity, stability, degradation and protection of materials and cross-cutting issue in the basic training of future engineers

Coordinator: Oscar Rosa Mattos. Worldwide expert in the electrochemical study of corrosion and protection of materials and Corrosion Laboratory Director of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, funded by Petrobras.
Participants: 30 teachers from different Faculties of Engineering and businesses across the country, according to the invitation to make a presentation of 10 minutes on the topic.

13:30 to 14:30 for papers of companies invited by the organization
14:30 to 16:00 Presentation COTECMAR. Importance and management that gives the materials; expectations for the training of engineers, policy and R & D resources associated with the theme of the Workshop, travel and practice
16:00 to 16:20 Break – Coffee
16:20 to 17:10 Comments on the papers received, the workshop experience and contributions to the discussion from their perspective. Oscar Rosa Mattos
17:10 to 18:15 Analysis and discussion in working groups
18:15 to 19:00 Plenary presentation of rapporteurs, analysis and conclusions
** Transportation: Transportation will be provided to all participants, from the Convention Center of Cartagena to Cotecmar.
